As part of my MSc by Research at the University of Durham, I specialised in theorectical computer science, namely in network coding.

Erdős numbers

Stefan has Erdős number 3, and Hajo has Erdős number 2 (using the MathSciNet collaboration distance tool). For more information, see the article on Wikipedia.

In addition, much of the input was provided by Søren Riis, Stefan’s old PhD supervisor. His Erdős number is 3.

Current work

My main work was on extending the research by Søren. The work concentrates mainly on a new area of network coding called guessing numbers.
