What is this?
WARNING!
You don’t appear to be using Firefox. Why not? Maybe you’re masking your USER_AGENT string, in which case you will need to check your browser version manually. Or maybe you’re just daft and haven’t started using it yet.
The search bar gives you a customisable set of search engines that can be accessed at the click of a button — and this page allows you to add Google Maps UK as one of those search engines. It’s just the same as visiting the Google Maps page and entering the address in their search bar, except it’s quicker!
How do I use it?
First of all, you need to add the engine to your list of searches. You will need JavaScript enabled.
All done! Check the integrated search bar to see that the search engine has been added.
I don’t like it. How do I remove it?
Oh, well. You can easily remove it (and any other unwanted search engines) by installing the SearchPluginHacks extension, which allows you to right-click on a search engine and delete it from the list. You can uninstall the extension when you’ve removed the plugin, if you wish.
You should also upgrade to the latest version of Firefox, which has a built-in search-engine manager.
