Access keys
This website uses a subset of the UK Government recommended access keys to assist with navigation around the site, allowing users to easily navigate to its key areas.
Access keys are activated in a number of ways depending on which browser and operating system you are using. On a PC they are usually activated by holding Alt or Alt + ⇧ Shift and pressing the relevant key, while on a Mac they are usually activated by holding Ctrl and pressing the required key. Internet Explorer users may have to press the ↵ Return or Enter key to activate the higlighted link.

Standards compliance
For interoperability, the majority of this website is compliant with the W3C XHTML 1.1 formal specification, and with the XHTML 1.0 Strict formal specification where the former is not possible.
In addition, the website uses valid CSS2 with certain extensions from the most recent CSS3 working draft.
The website also aims to conform to the guidelines specified in WCAG 1.0, published by the WAI.
